If you are going to travel toRussia, don't forget that
a Russian travel visa is required. There are several types
of Russian visas one can apply for. The most popular types
of visa are Tourist Visa and Business Visa.
Tourist Visa Requirements
Russian Tourist Visa can be issued for a period no longer
than 30 days. Submit the following information to obtain Tourist
Visa:
- Standard tourist confirmation and a voucher
- Copy of your passport or other travel documents
- Original passport with at least one blank page for visas
- Signed and dated application form
- Three identical passport sized photos signed on the back
Business Visa Requirements
Single-entry and double entry Business Visas are issued for
a period no longer than 90 days. Multi-entry Business Visa
can be issued for a period no longer than 1 year. Submit the
following information to obtain Business Visa:
- A letter of invitation from the Russian Foreign Ministry,
the Ministry of Interior, its Regional Representative Offices
or a Russian host company
- Copy of your passport or other travel documents
- Original passport with at least one blank page for visas
- Signed and dated application form
- Three identical passport sized photos signed on the back
